Adds information about 1.40.8 for quest 1, I'm not sure what to do with other guides for quest 1, should we keep them?

And most users should probably be all users. Patched was used by a lot of people and it seemes to work pretty well, not without some fps drops but those can be mitigated by using graphics mods
The patch was released like last year.

This danger section does not seem clear.

Is this noting that if people with a Q1 and modded the last official version needs to leave the legacy release channel before using MBF?

Yeah, they need to leave the legacy channel before modding because MBF requires the latest (1.37.101) for quest 1 to be on the quest. It's also how it knows when to upgrade.

We also have some special issues on quest 1:

  • not being able to stream by anything except scrcpy
  • some people are on a way too old firmware version, they might need to update if nothing works for them
  • For some license to their game is not recognized by quest for some reason
  • And we don't really have instructions on how to buy it on quest 1, usual case is where they already have the game purchased. May need a bit more investigating for purchasing the game. We had cases when we had to contact meta support to fix their things but they could not do anything, some time later we just got a license anyway

In theory users can get 1.40.8, install it and then mbf will mod it, so upgrade is not really necessary if you have the files already, we didn't really confirm it, as I don't have quest 1 myself
